Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra show their class

Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra are fiercely competitive when they are together on the big screen. They wouldn’t let the other get an edge. In Barfi, there is not a single shot where Ranbir and Priyanka have not excelled. The two have done such a splendid job that they have unfortunately put Ileana D'Cruz an inch behind even though she has given a great performance.
Ranbir Kapoor shows amazing grit and determination as an actor. Portraying a deaf and dumb young man would normally require years of method acting. It is evident that Ranbir has gone through months of method acting while preparing for this role. Look at his on-screen character closely and you will find out that he has watched the earlier films of British actor Rowan Atkinson and Charles Chaplin while preparing for this role. Both Rowan and Chaplin don’t speak a word in these films but yet deliver classic performances and both set respective standards without uttering a single dialogue. Ranbir Kapoor has delivered a performance where he brilliantly mixes the two characters together.

Before I begin this review, I would like to take a moment to salute Mr. S.S.Rajamouli for coming up with an entertainer that has pushed the boundaries of our filmmaking. Eega makes us all proud to be a part of the Telugu Film Industry.
‘Eega’ has released across the world today in a big way and the movie has been directed by S.S.Rajamouli. Music has been scored by Keeravani and the film has Samantha,Nani and Sudeep in lead roles. Let us see how the movie is.
Story:
Nani(Nani) lives opposite the house of Bindu (Samantha) and he is madly in love with her. Bindu is a miniature artist and a social worker who runs an NGO. She too loves him, but never expresses it to Nani and prefers to keep him guessing. As time goes by, Sudeep (Sudeep) comes into Bindu’s life as a very rich benefactor of Bindu’s NGO and he starts coveting her.
Sudeep is a cruel guy by nature he does not hesitate to kill. When he comes to know of Nani’s love for Bindu, he brutally kills off Nani. A dying Nani comes to know that Bindu too loves him and this strong love for Bindu causes him to be reborn as an Eega.

The famous dialogue from the film ‘Businessman’ – ‘Surya Bhai is not a name…it’s a brand’ has a real life example. That is Rajamouli.
 
At a time when industry folks are working on formula entertainers with a sole focus on generating box office collections, Rajamouli chose to come up with a subject that will take one line to finish on paper and will sound the most bizarre in concept. A housefly’s revenge…how convincing is that? But you have to change your judgment when dealing with Rajamouli’s belief.
 
And that is bound to happen when you see ‘Eega’. Though he took his time to come out with this movie, he has shown that a lot has gone behind the creation of the creature. This is the first time that Telugu cinema has seen a movie with high quality graphics.
 
Usually, CG is considered to give effects and impact on the background but in this, it is the CG which is the hero. Secondly, when a creature is the protagonist, it is obvious that there are no dialogues but the major life to the film was given by the exceptional background score of Keeravani. The emotions of Eega he conveyed with his instruments were mesmerizing. Without doubt, Keeravani is still the best in the business. The other department which requires maximum applause is cinematography.
